Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP)

         Claryville, NY 2009

An experience to deepen spirituality for the 31 men who attended

Thirty One men made the Men's Rites of Passage at the Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville, NY. The deeply moving and experiential program for men's spirituality was held in September, 2009 with Lenny Sclafani as the Weaver and Stephen Picha, from the CAC, was the Ritual Elder.

The men attending were from all over the U.S. and Canada. It was an opportunity to spend time in nature, share with other men, and discover a deeper connection to God and Holy Spirit. The Rites ended with a procession and communion service on Sunday before men were charged to go and mentor others and serve the world.
